Mechatronic Mario Kart Robot

I worked on a project in my mechatronics class where the team and I were tasked with building a robot capable of autonomously navigating a custom race course featuring a ramped bridge, a “rough terrain” section filled with medium-sized rocks, various turn angles, and an optional jump. I focused on the design of the robot as well as the mathematical analysis of motors and wheels. The robot consisted of an arm that scoops up dice and then sorts the color of the dice and throws out the unwanted one.. The goal is to pick up your designated color of the dice and win the race.
